Sacrifices in living expences

This has become a national question for most Americans who are underemployed or unemployed. These are just some examples of ways that people trying to make the most of what they can afford. Most of Americans now are making more cash purchase instead of using there debit or credit to cut their spending. A major cut back is the purchasing and financing of a newer vehicle is on the decline instead they are looking to trade in on a slightly older models and relive the financing expense. Window shopping a pastime for some have reduced their temptations by shopping only when necessary, making a list and sticking to it or skipping the mall in favor of online sites. Shopping for groceries at multiple stores has become a full time task to find the best savings. The consumers are finding them selves coupon clipping like never before to make the most of every dollar that they spend, but even some of the best penny pinchers are finding them selves going to the discount Dollar Stores an Dollar Generals to make grocery purchases. Many people are reducing their cell phone services instead of using it as connection to rest of the world via texting or the web and even changing service to prepaid phone service for only emergencies. For some Americans cutting back means even reducing there pay-TV services or canceling them altogether because there’s just no more money in their budget to spend. Showing even more down turn of economics people who rent are looking for roommates to help share the expenses. Parents that have the their children grown up and on their own and have their own families are looking to move back in with their parents just to make it by coexisting with expenses. Subscription to newspaper and magazines have been canceled to cut back because they able to receive their news from the web. One of hardest habits to break in spending is the smokers which adds up very quickly for regular smoker. The best way to save money with this is to quit or some now are finding it’s reasonable to purchase a machine and roll there own cutting their expense per month. The most crushing effect of this weak economy is the health care as the unemployed and others with out insurance make drastic to cut cost and getting by. There are millions of Americans are forging doctor visits, abandoning needed medications, ignoring ongoing problems and simply hoping that they don’t get seriously ill or hurt.

  1. This is a very sad but true account of how americans are living nowadays.Almost everybody i know and even I are using at least one of the methods you described. If the economy does not come around soon,it will only get worse.People are afraid to invest money in new automobiles and houses because there is no job security now and they are afraid to get stuck into monthly payments, which in turn affects jobs.Another reason there are job losses is the fact that we can go to the major retailers and buy cheaper,Chinese manufactured products which ships our jobs overseas.
